Electric Power Board of Chattanooga utility bonds remain in full effect until canceled. If the surety chooses to cancel this bond, 30 days’ notice prior to cancellation must be submitted to EPB.
Johnson City Power Board Utility Supplier Bond
Commercial and industrial customers of Johnson City Power Board have the option to post a surety bond in lieu of a deposit for services. By posting the bond, customers pledge to pay all bills according to the supply contract with the utility company.
JCPB utility bonds remain in full force and effect until canceled.
Knoxville Utilities Board Utility Service Guaranty Bond
Knoxville utility service guaranty bonds are put in place to ensure that customers pay all bills, statements or charges for any services furnished or rendered from the date contracted until the date of disconnection.
The surety can cancel the bond at any type by providing written notice by registered mail to the Knoxville Utilities Board specifying the effective date of said cancellation. This notice must be received no later than 60 days prior to the surety’s desired date of termination.
Nashville Electric Service Bond
Nashville Electric Service bonds ensure that principals (utility customers) have applied to the Electric Power Board of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County for electric services and will promptly pay bills for all electric services furnished and supplied by NES. These bonds are put in place in lieu of a cash deposit as security for the payment of said electric bills.
The surety can cancel a Nashville Electric Service bond at any time by giving 60 days’ written notice to the Electric Power Board of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, Tennessee.
Tennessee Regulatory Authority Wastewater Utility Bond
Tennessee wastewater utility bonds are required by the Tennessee Regulatory Authority. All persons and entities who operate public wastewater systems for compensation in the state of Tennessee must post this bond. This bond guarantees that the principal will construct and operate wastewater systems in compliance with all laws and rules of federal, local and state government agencies.
Tennessee wastewater utility bonds have a set expiration date of 1 year from the date of execution. If the bond is to be canceled, a written notification must be sent to the Tennessee Regulatory Authority at least 60 days before the expiration date.
