Oklahoma money transmitter surety bonds guarantee that principals (money transmission professionals) conduct business in compliance with Section 85: 15-3 of the Oklahoma Administrative Code and all other laws applicable to the business of money transmission. Money transmitter bond details

Oklahoma money transmitter license fees are $2,000 for the principal location and an additional $50 for each authorized delegate. The applicant must have a minimum net worth of $275,000 to apply for this bond.

Become a money transmitter

To become a licensed money transmitter in Oklahoma, applicants must provide the following information on the license application:

  • The legal name of the applicant and their residential and business addresses
  • A description of all money transmission services currently provided anywhere by the applicant and the money transmission services that the applicant seeks to provide in Oklahoma
  • A list of the applicant’s proposed authorized delegates and the locations in Oklahoma where the applicant and its authorized delegates propose to engage in money transmission

In addition, applicants must submit a nonrefundable $3,000 application/investigation fee.
